Basic Bookkeeping for Small & Micro Enterprises is an introductory course to bookkeeping for Small & Micro business entrepreneurs. It assists business owners and individuals to improve the administration and management of their financial affairs.
Course Outputs & Target Audience:
This introductory workshop teaches basic accounting and financial literacy skills to help people manage their day to day financial matters. It is not meant for people already trained in advanced bookkeeping and will therefore be of little use to them.
This workshop offers individuals and small business people with guides, checklists, definitions and simple examples of running one’s financial matters, which incorporate the incoming & outgoings of money as well as the reporting thereof.
In order to run a financially stable and successful business or household, individuals and business owners need to gain the appropriate skills as well as fulfil the responsibility of financial record-keeping. This workshop provides the guidelines to formulate a minimum standard system to record and control finances.

6. Prepare a Balance Sheet & Income Statement.
7. Understand general SARS compliance.
